Identify the Spread of Haze Sources to the Area West Sumatra in August 2019

Abstract
Most areas of Sumatra including Riau, Jambi and West Sumatra Province experienced dry season in August 2019. This condition can trigger forest fire and is often used by some people to expand the plantation area by creating fire. Forest fires caused an increase the parameters of the Particulate Matter (PM10) in each province. The highest PM10 concentration is 220 mg/m3 in Riau province, analysis using wind direction with Hysplit method and hotspots by Terra-Aqua BMKG satellite. The dominant of wind direction from areas affected by forest fires has a direct impact to West Sumatra province with PM10 concentration on medium level
