COMPARISON OF MEASUREMENT OF PHOTOSYNTETICALLY ACTIVE RADIATION (PAR) DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY IN A SHORT PERIOD AT SPAG BUKIT KOTOTABANG
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study was conducted to compare the results of measurement of PAR (Photosyntetically Active Radiation) between the direct and the indirect method in the Global Atmospheric Watch (GAW) Bukit Kototabang Station. Direct measurements was performed by PAR Radiometer sensor which is one of instrumentation AAWS (Agroclimate Automatic wheather Station). Indirect measurement using empirical equations which are output of the three instruments, namely QPSP-Eppley Pyranometer (IGlo), RG58-Eppley Pyranometer (INIR) and Total UV Radiometer (ITUV). The magnitude of the intensity of PAR (IPAR) empirically defined IPAR = IGlo- (INIR + ITUV). The comparison showed that the results of the calculation (indirect measurement) higher than the results of observations (direct measurement)
