Main Article Content
Abstract
This journal discusses the dryness index determination of Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) method, using the scopic application in Indrapuri of Aceh Besar district. Rainfall data used in this journal from 2010 to 2014 with a monthly time scale used by the drought index is 4 months. Drought index value is obtained by finding the data on average monthly rainfall, test the consistency of the data, and mapping of areas experiencing drought, finding the correlation between the index of drought with rice production. 1. Given the drought index in District Indrapuri the period 2010 to 2014 has the effect of a very strong connection to the rice crop production during the year that is equal to 0.890. The highest rice production results in this study occurred in the 2012 growing season Rendeng ie 10653.30 tonnes by drought index of 1.1 and productivity 6.30 tonnes / ha. While the results of lowest production occurs in the growing season of 2013 Rendeng is 5491.38 tonnes by drought index of -1.8 and productivity of 5.7 tons / ha
