WRF-Chem model projections of air quality and atmospheric conditions in West Sumatra
Main Article Content
Abstract
WRF-Chem is a form of WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) that combined with chemistry calculations, which could be used for emission, transportation, mixing, and transformation simulation from gases and aerosols meteorogically. This study uses two parameterization that are PBL10 (TEMF Scheme) and PBL99 (MFR Scheme), which is compared with observation data from meteorological office Tabing Padang for wind speed data and from GAW Kototabang for carbon monoxide data. The results are PBL99 produced a better prediction model data for wind speed data, although it still need further research to decide which parameterization is suited for modeling in Padang
